About the Director, Tim McQueen
As a digital manager, it’s Tim's job to make websites successful - and to keep them that way.
Tim started his media career in 2002 at Foxtel and since 2005, Tim's managed just about every sort of website project you could imagine. Website branding, building, re-building, SEO, CMS, content creation, analytics, conversion optimisation, usability studies and consulting, audits, content migrations, and everything in between... All aspects of the project, from start to finish.
Naturally this means Tim has also managed his fair share of teams and freelancers – both internal and external. And he's liaised with a wide range of stakeholders – from C-level to marketing to technical – and have successfully balanced their (often conflicting) needs.
In fact, one of Tim's most valuable strengths is his ability to speak geek, agency and corporate. He can ‘translate’ complex technical concepts into terms the average human can understand. Likewise he can get techies to understand how their work aligns with the organisation’s overarching objectives.
Another integral part of his role is the enterprise class CMS. Tim's been managing and administering them since 2005, and considers himself an expert in MySource Matrix, and Adobe Business Catalyst. Tim is also certified by the Nielsen Norman Group.
